Meet Rosa Panos

Rosa Panos is a Board-Certified Acupuncture Physician licensed in Florida and practicing in Palm Coast. She holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She is a Board-Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, holds a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Health Studies from Florida College of Oriental Medicine. Rosa is also a Florida licensed Physical Therapist with specializations in orthopedics, manual therapy and oncology rehab. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Rosa completed additional studies abroad at China Medical University in Tiachung, Taiwan.

AT RP Acupuncture patients benefit from the integration of Eastern and Western medicine, and may receive acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tuina (Chinese medical massage), cupping, pulsed electromagnetic frequency (BEMER), and Qi gong. Rosa offers a full line of pharmaceutical grade dietary supplements and computer assisted health screening utilizing the Zyto Elite scanner.

Rosa’s experience includes geriatric rehab with diagnoses including CVA (stroke), Parkinson’s, Guillain-Barre, ALS, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, joint replacement/fractures, emotional disorders including depression and anxiety, chronic fatigue

With nearly 3 decades of experience in western medicine Rosa is co-owner of Physical Therapy Specialists in Palm Coast. Her expertise includes pain management, orthopedics, manual therapy, spinal and joint mobilizations, musculoskeletal dysfunctions including low back pain, joint pain, and post cancer rehabilitation.

Prior to moving to Florida, Rosa was the Director of Rehab services at East Cooper Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Supervising PT, OT, SLP, Incontinence Center, and Wound Care Center. In addition, Rosa capably continued her service to patients, reviewing X-Rays, MRIs, labs and medical records to assist in their physical therapy and POC.

Finally arriving in Flagler County in 2005 to open her own physical therapy facility, Physical Therapy Specialists in Palm Coast, FL, Rosa supervises support staff and daily interaction with physicians to evaluate and treat all physical disabilities, impairments and neuro-muscular diseases with a keen eye on each individual’s psycho-social abilities. Rosa specializes in manual therapy to restore function, reduce pain and improve quality of life. She focuses on spinal alignment and mobilizations to reduce muscle imbalances and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Another area of her expertise is the treatment of lymphedema. Rosa has completed both basic and advanced certification in lymphedema training making her invaluable to post-op cancer patients. She specializes in reducing and resolving post surgical scar tissue from all surgeries and restoring ROM of affected areas.

Rosa began studying Oriental Medicine in 2015. She was an International Exchange student at the China Medical University in 2016. She studied Oriental Medicine with the intent of combining eastern and western theories to help people achieve balance, good health, and restore normal function and enjoy a pain-free, energetic life!
